T.A.D.A to Non-Official members Government Order

In the orders first read above, rules were issued relating to the payment of T.A, D.A and Attendance allowance to the non-official members attending the meetings of Zilla Parishads or their Standing Committees.

In the orders second read above, rules were issued relating to T.A. & D.A. to the non-official members attending the General body meetings of Mandal Parishads.

In the orders fourth read above, rules were issued for payment of allowances to the persons invited to attend the meetings of Zilla Parishads and Standing Committees of Zilla Parishads.

        In the orders fifth read above, orders were issued for payment of the monthly emoluments to the Chairman and Vice Chairman of Zilla Parishads and Mandal Presidents. In the orders sixth read above, orders were issued for payment of an amount of Rs. 1500/- P.M. towards honorarium of T.A. to the Z.P.T.C. members.

         In the orders seventh read above, orders were issued cancelling the order issued in G.O.Ms. N0. 596, PR&RD (Mdl.ll) Dept., dt. 16.08.1995. In view of the cancellation of G.O, the non-official members of Zilla Parishads are not eligible for TA & DA for attending meetings of Z.P. or Standing Committees etc.

In view of the above orders, certain C.E.Os of Zilla Parishads sought clarification of Government as to whether the M.L.As and M.Ps are eligible for payment of TA & DA for attending ZP General Body meetings and Standing Committee meetings as per the orders issued for payment of TA & DA to the non-official members of ZP for attending ZP General body meetings and Standing Committee meetings issued in G.O.Ms.No. 596 PR&RD (Mdl.ll) Dept., dt. 16.08.1995, were cancelled in G.O.Ms.No. 522 PR&RD (Mdl.ll) Dept, dt. 04.11.1999. And if the MLAs and MPs are eligible for payment of TA & DA whether the ZPTCs also eligible for payment of TA & DA for attending the meetings as the ZPTC members are also non-official members of Z.Ps.

Government after careful examination of the matter hereby clarify that the non-official members of Zilla Parishad and Mandal Parishads shall be paid TA & DA for attending the meetings of Z.P. or its standing Committees General Body meetings Mandal Parishads as per the procedure laid down in rule 13(a) Part-Ill of APTA Rules.

This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (TA) Department, vide their U.O. No. 15250/97/A1/TA/04, dated. 17/07/2004.
