The Sarpanches of Andhra Pradesh Major/Minor Gram Panchayats Associations have submitted a Memorandum to the Government putting forth some of the demands including enhancement of Honorarium in the reference 6th read above.
2. In the reference 7th read above, the Government have constituted a Committee of Group of Ministers to study and examine the demands of Sarpanchs Associations. The Group of Ministers have submitted their recommendations. The recommendations of Group of Ministers were placed before the meeting of the Council of Ministers for its consideration.
3. In the reference 8th read above, Government have accepted the recommendations of Group of Ministers, in which one of the demands relates to enhancing of honorarium to Sarpanches of Major and Minor Gram Panchayats.
4. After careful examination, the Government have ordered to enhance the honorarium and sitting fees etc., as follows:-

5. The Commissioner, Panchayat Raj & Rural Employment, Hyderabad, is requested to take further action and to follow the procedure and drawing of Honorarium/emoluments and Sitting fees etc., as laid down in the G.O.s issued in the references 1st to 5th read above.
6. These orders shall come into force with immediate effect.
7. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance [Expr.PR&RD] Department vide their U.O.Note.No.21578- A/306/Expr.PR&RD/09,Dated: 14.9.2009.
